Patrick Ketchum
3-Year Trustee - Army

Comrade Ketchum retired from the United States Army as a Staff Sergeant (E-6). He spent over ten (10) years as an Infantryman (MOS 11B), where during the Global War on Terror he spent an accumulative deployed time of nearly six (6) years between both theaters of Iraq and Afghanistan. 
 
Comrade Ketchum earned the coveted Expert Infantry Badge before deploying overseas and was subsequently awarded the Combat Infantry Badge upon his service in theater. He is a highly decorated non-commissioned officer (NCO) with the following: Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Valorous Unit Award, Global War on Terrorism Service and Expeditionary Medals, Iraqi Campaign Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Medal.
 

Comrade Ketchum has continued to serve out of uniform in a multitude of positions for a number of non-profit organizations. He is currently a regional operations manager for The Mission Continues, a veteran non-profit organization that is on a mission to connect veterans with under-resourced communities. The Mission Continues empowers veterans to continue their service and empowers communities with veteran talent, skills, and preparedness to generate visible impact. Patrick is a leading advocate for veterans working together to improve their lives through service. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Los Angeles. Patrick is a charter member of the National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA) Veterans Council.
